Orchid and Chrysanthemum Basket

Orchids symbolise elegance, refinement and admiration. White chrysanthemums provide a pale contrast to the pink and purple orchid blooms. The exotic Leucadendron is a woody plant whose decorative, coloured bracts surround a small flower cluster. The arrangement is handed over ready-made in a wicker basket, so it needs no vase and can simply be set down. Keep the floral foam moist, as the flowers continually draw water from it. Chrysanthemums are among the few cut flowers that are not sensitive to ethylene, so nearby ripening fruit will not affect them.
