Alstroemerias and roses in two colours

The alstroemerias add a different flower shape, while roses in two colours give the bouquet a varied palette. Red roses are the classic choice for declaring love and are among the most sought-after cut flowers. Remove faded alstroemeria flowers regularly so the remaining buds open and the bouquet lasts longer. Cut the rose stems diagonally at a 45° angle with a sharp knife, repeat the cut every 2–3 days, and remove any leaves below the waterline. Solidago lasts around two weeks in a vase.
