The greenery forms the base into which the freesias and alstroemerias are tied. It adds volume, shape and colour contrast to the bouquet. Pink blooms and pale accents make this a colourful floral gift for a personal occasion. Alstroemerias last around 10 to 14 days in a vase. Place the freesias in lukewarm water and keep them away from draughts; their buds then open gradually up to the tips of the stems.
