White roses with greenery form a restrained floral composition. The pale blooms against darker greenery create a calm, dignified impression. They are suitable for a final farewell and express sympathy, respect and remembrance. If you place the roses in a vase, cut the stems diagonally at a 45-degree angle with a sharp knife, and repeat the cut every two to three days. Remove any leaves from the roses and greenery that would sit below the water; greenery leaves would otherwise spoil the water quickly.
